| Well it has definitely been a while since I last updated, so I decided it was time to sit down and update. A lot has happened since my last entry so I'll just do a quick overview. First, the Rascal Flatts concert.
Katherine and I went to Joe's right before and got into a misunderstanding with Matt and Dave, but things worked out and we head toward DTE. The ride was ridiculous since Katherine and I were in the back and the windows were down... My goodness it was certainly windy. The concert was AMAZING. Katherine and I got to do our dance to Here's to You. It was excellent... she almost missed it, but she made it in time. I was so worried! I almost cried... anyway. It was raining pretty bad so the four of us were trying to hide under this little umbrella. It was dripping off the side and everything... ridiculous. I wish they would have sang more new songs, but it was still awesome. At the end they sang pour some sugar on me and shot through the heart. Me and Katie were so excited that they were playing our songs! It ended up being a pretty fun night until the ride home, but this is a summary so I won't spoil the awesomeness of Rascal Flatts.
Next, I had Elite tryouts. I made it and I get to be lieutenant! I'm sooo excited. Taylor, Kristen, and I are the team leaders... It's gonna be a GREAT year! Plus, everyone on the team is sooo good. I think we have a serious chance of winning at nationals in Florida and FINALLY getting the leather jackets.  I can't wait...
I talked to my dad a few times. I wrote him a really long letter about a bunch of stuff that I wanted to fix with us and it was sad. I cried and then dad called me when he got it and he said that he wanted to fix those things too and that things will definitely be different when he gets back. I miss him a lot.
Jason left and went to the other side of the country. It was sad... but he's back now! I see a lot of him now that he's back. I bet I see him more now than I used to, including when we were in school. He replaced my expensive smashed up sunglasses for my birthday! I was sooo excited. Also on my birthday on Tuesday, which I'll tell more about in a minute, he picked me up from dance and brought me a rose. It was really cute... What a guy.. 
I'm seeing a lot more of my lil D Bop. I missed her a lot, but now that we're on the same team, I get to see her wayyy more. I went to her house last friday to hang out with her. She's a nut. I brought Katherine, Kyle, Hannah and Jess with me (kinda) and they seemed to have fun too. I missed Hannah too! It's been so long since we've been able to hang out. I can't wait until the camping extravaganza. haha. It's definitely gonna be a fiesta. Sometimes I have some pretty sweet friends, let me tell ya.
Okay, my birthday now: I woke up and went to work, which pretty much sucked cuz I had to file and clean all morning. Then, I went home and kinda sat in my room by myself for a while because my brothers were being mean and I was tired of it. But I cleaned while I was in there so I now have a clean room! Anyway, we all went out to eat at Outback Steakhouse. It was soooo good.. I had the best dessert of my life. After that, mom and Pat took me and Kyle to the mall so I could pick out my birthday present since they didn''t have time to get me one. Right when we walked in, mom took me to the Philosophy perfume counter so I could get Falling in Love, which is the perfume that I got a while ago and it was my FAVORITE, but it ran out and I never had money to replace it. Moving on, we went to Wet Seal and I got two really cute shirts and a sweeet pair of jeans. Then, we met Pat down at the Verizon Wireless cart so I could get my own phone! I was very excited.. If you want the number, just ask because I'm not gonna post it on the internet for all to see. After I got my phone, we sped home so I could get ready for dance practice. Katherine was in my driveway and she brought me a present! I got a cute shirt, an adorable skirt to match, necklace and matching earrings that are really comfortable and really cute, and a ribbon belt because she really knows me I love you Katherine!! Thanks for the present babydoll! Then we drove to dance and after practice was when Jason came. So, even though the day started sucky, it actually ended pretty sweet.
Today I'm hanging out with Jason after work to "celebrate my birthday." I'm not sure what we're going to do yet, but it'll be fun. That was pretty much all the important stuff... Let me know if I forgot something because I'm sure I did. Laterrrr | | |
| I had one recital last night and I still have 4 more to go... Today at 1 and 6 and tomorrow at 1 and 6. It's going to be a loong weekend. I really wish that someone would be there to watch me, but they won't. My family will be there tonight so I guess I'll be okay, but I really wish that someone would come..
Last night was awful. Every dance I was in was messed up... People were forgetting their kicks left and right, some people didn't even go on stage! hahaha... That would be Brittney and Gillian... way to be girls! It was the first show though, everything will probably go well by tonight. Katie got really pretty flowers after the show last night. Her family bought them for her... They were soooo pretty. I wish I could get flowers, but I won't because my family isn't like that. They say good job and then it's time to go home. I don't mind that, don't get me wrong. My family supports me like none other, but they're not "Flowers and Gifts for a job well done" kinda people. I really wish I could get flowers though. When you're standing in the lobby and all your friends are holding 4 or 5 bouquets of roses, you kinda wish you had at least a carnation or something.
Well, I think I ran out of things to say, so I'm going to go eat breakfast... You should all come to my recitals!! And bring flowers.. Laterrr | | |
| I hate when people talk about me. I HATE it. Especially when it's somebody that doesn't even talk to me or even know me anymore. I think that if people want to talk about me I should be present so I can at least tell you if you're right or wrong... since usually people are wrong. But I can't do anything about it... I can just sit and hear all the stupid stuff that people say. That's not all though... the things they say to each other are the exact opposite of what they tell me. That makes me really mad. More than half the things that person said to me must've been a lie. I feel like hitting someone. I also hate when people flirt with everyone... but we'll save that for some other time. The final thing I hate for today is when people say "You'll be okay..." because they don't know that! They have no idea what you're thinking or what has happened. They don't have to go through what you're going through, so how do they have the right to tell you that you'll be okay... and with the tone that you're acting ridiculous. I think people should keep their comments until they actually experience it. Even when you're in a really bad mood and you feel like the world if falling apart, the last thing you want to hear is the condescending "you'll be okay." You can explain yourself a million times to someone, and they can still have no idea what you're talking about, but the problem is they think they know. Dumb. Life is dumb right now. People are making me really angry. | | |
| This weekend was definitely fun... Friday night I went to watch our church softball game with Katherine. Dave was doing pretty awesome.. made some pretty sweet catches, hit a homerun for us.. ya know, the usual. lol Matt met us up there and watched the game with us so that was cool cuz I haven't seen him in a while... After the game, we all walked to the park, I think it's called Fort Fraser. We played on the swings, but my was stupid cuz it was too low and my sandals kept falling off... Gayyy... Anyway, after that we went in the jungle gym and me and Katherine were hiding. We did awesome too cuz Matt and Dave never saw us... After playing for a little while, I went to watch my brother Dan and his team. He didn't hit a homerun, but I got to watch him slide into third for a triple and then he made it in after the next batter. It was exciting, Danny is pretty fast... Then, Katherine took me to my cousin's house!!! We pretty much hung out in her basement and caught up in current happenings and then fell asleep...
Saturday me and Lo woke up and got ready for the par-tay. We had some waffles and they were definitely pretty good... People started coming over to watch the air show and I got to see aunts and uncles and cousins again, so that was fun. Then my grandparents came over, The Gallases, so I said hi and stayed as far away as possible because I knew she'd want to talk about my dad the whole time, which I was NOT in the mood for. Lauren and I hung out with Taylor the whole time. She's a little cutie.. She's a dancer too so she was showing me and Lauren all the stuff she can do and testing me to see if I could do it too. She is pretty good, I won't lie... We went for a walk around Lauren's sub without shoes, so that was kinda painful, but still fun. Then Taylor said that Nick was a "bad soul" and then later she said "Woo doggie, pour some sugar on me!" I laughed for quite a long time about that one. Then her uncle Barry drove me home and I sat on the porch with my family for a while. Later that night, Katherine, Courtney, and Matt came over. We had a fire, but we ran out of wood, so we went on an adventure to get some. Katie and Courtney couldn't go back in the woods cuz they had flip flops on, so me and Matt had to provide for the family. lol.. We had to travel through the swampy wetlands for some firewood. I was very adventerous. At one point, Matt had to make a bridge for me and it was rolling and stuff, so that was pretty scary. But we made it alive and got some pretty good wood. Then Matt got a little carried away with the axe and was chopping stuff the whole night. It was pretty funny, but I had to take it away a few times.. Dave and Josh came too. Josh was being mean to my dog though.. jerk... He was roasting stale marshmallows and throwing them for my dog to eat. Then they put a golf ball in the fire and watched it melt.. They are such little kids...
Sunday morning I went to church with Katherine. I talked to Kyle and Logan for a little bit, so that was cool. Then we went home and Katie and I watched Pride and Prejudice... such a good movie!! We went back for Oasis later on and talked to Kyle and Ryan for a little bit, then went to Dan's house! The drive over there was sooo much fun! Me and Katie were in the party car! We were dancing to the Hey Mickey song.. I'm not sure what it's called. We were singing really loud.. good times! When we got to Dan's he showed us pictures and I got to see him grow up! lol. Lots of people started to show up and I got to see about 30 minutes of National Treasure before we had to leave, and everyone was making comments during the movie. It was soo funny! Then we left, but Kyle and Ryan walked us out.. They're so funny. They said they would come get me and Katherine from school one day, and they were pretty excited about it lol. That'd be fun! I love when friends come get me from school, like when Jess, Hannah, Brig, and Danielle came to pick me up that one day! I felt so cool... Now maybe Kyle and Ryan will! Exciting... They're a fun bunch to hang out with... that's for sure. That was my exciting weekend! Completely Katherined out, but isn't it always?? We have so much fun, what can I say? Leave comments! | I have lots of papers to write and they are all due this week. That's fun... orrrr no. But it's okay because the Pistons won yesterday and that was definitely pretty sweet!
Yesterday was pretty fun... I went to church and I saw Darrel the Barrel! That was awesome! Patrick was trying to hold the mic so people could hear him and he decided to put it underneat the costume and Kyle started yelling, "Quit reaching up my Barrel!!!!" It was by far one of the funnier moments in life. But I will have to say that Doom's joke was better. I said "Doom is such a sweet name. I wish my last name was Doom." He replies, "It will be if you play your cards right..." lol.. Perfect comment. Anyway... After church was SNAC at Patrick's house, which is right down the street from Alissa!! So we called her and invited her and she brought Steve so I got to meet him... that was exciting. And James was doing these sweeeeet magic tricks. I was amazed... Then Alissa and Steve played some dinosaur game with Kory and James and a few other people and Katherine and I talked to our new friend Lauren.. who lives right down the street!!! And Dan too, who will be the only one left next fall... *sadness* We had a lot of fun!!
After SNAC, Katherine and I stopped at Wendy's to get a few free frosties.. That's fun to say. Anyway, we asked for 6, but we got an extra one, and we were driving by Jason's house, so we stopped to give him the extra one. So I saw him for about 2 minutes, that was fun.
Today I went to school, which was stupid, but tomorrow will be really easy because it's a half day! Yessss.... That's pretty much it... no more exciting things. Be sweet and comment | | |
